Art Rock Show – Prehensile Tales (Week 23)

Pattern-Seeking Animals

Zowat een jaar geleden stak een viertal huidige en voormalige Spock’s Beard-leden de koppen bij elkaar met als doel een nieuwe groep op te starten, die de naam Pattern-Seeking Animals kreeg. Het kwartet bestaat uit Ted Leonard (zang, gitaar), Jimmy Keegan (zang, drums), bassist Dave Meros en toetsenist John Boegehold.

Bluestown Music review: “Het eponieme debuutalbum kreeg vorig jaar een vrij koele ontvangst: uitstekend gemusiceerd maar niet verrassend, was ongeveer het oordeel van het popjournaille. (…)

Aan inspiratie kennelijk geen gebrek want het is toch knap om binnen een jaar een compleet nieuwe cd te lanceren. Ik was al heel blij met de ‘teaser’ op Spotify, het geweldige nummer Here In My Autumn, maar nu het volledige album er is, is mijn gemoedstoestand er alleen maar positiever op geworden.… Read more...
