Thick as a Brick is het vijfde studioalbum van de Britse rockband Jethro Tull. Het werd uitgebracht in maart 1972. Fred Nieuwesteeg van Prog Wereld: “Het was in die tijd niet ongebruikelijk om ellenlang nummers te maken die tot wel een hele plaatkant in beslag namen. Anderson ging bij zijn oekaze helemaal over de top en ook dit fenomeen nam hij op de hak door Thick As A Brick als één nummer te schrijven. Alleen de bekende praktische beperkingen van de lp noodzaakten hem halverwege een break in te lassen.… Read more...
