Art Rock Show – Dominic Sanderson – Blazing Revelations (Week 15)

Dominic Sanderson, een jonge muzikant uit Wakefield (UK), haalt inspiratie uit Engelse bands als King Crimson, Pink Floyd en Marillion. In februari 2023 bracht Sanderson een album uit met de titel Impermanence. Het is een conceptalbum dat is beïnvloed door de klassieke progressieve rock sound van de jaren 70, maar met een eigentijds randje.

TheEliteExtremophile review: “Two years later, he’s back with his sophomore release, Blazing Revelations. Sanderson, covering guitar and vocals, is backed by four additional musicians, including a dedicated wind instrumentalist. The music maintains its dark edge, but he is much more clearly drawing directly from Van der Graaf Generator than on his previous release.
