Red Sand is een weinig bekende Canadese groep die nog steeds aan beide zijden van de oceanen opereert. De meeste platen van de groep zijn bovengemiddelde kwaliteit.

This opus therefore radically changes the sounds of the Marillion Fish era with which it had quite a few similarities. Art Rock Show – Human. :II: Nature (Week 19)

Vijf jaar lang moesten we wachten op een nieuwe plaat van de Finse band Nightwish, maar het resultaat mag er zeker zijn. Mario van Os van Prog Wereld: “Hun eerste dubbelalbum met ruim 80 minuten aan muziek weet muzikaal te excelleren, tekstueel te beroeren en met het thema te emotioneren. Met dit album weet de band, die al volle zalen en stadiums kreeg, boven zichzelf uit te stijgen en zjn status als wereldband te versterken. Een hoofdrol is hierbij zeker weggelegd voor onze Nederlandse trots Floor Jansen, want meer dan in de voorgaande albums worden de zangkwaliteiten van de frontvrouw op de voorgrond geplaatst.
