Tangerine Dream is een Berlijnse elektronische muziekgroep, opgericht door Edgar Froese in 1967. De band is een van de pioniers in het elektronische genre. Aanvankelijk speelden zij avant-garde-rock, maar vanaf 1972 keerden zij de conventionele instrumenten de rug toe en speelden ze uitsluitend met elektronische instrumenten.

Art Rock Show – Infringement – Black Science and White Lies (Week 3)

Infringement is een progressieve rockband uit Oslo die in najaar 2015 werd opgericht door Stig André Clason (gitaar), Kristoffer Utby (drums) en Hans Andreas Brandal (zang). Toetsenist Bård Thorstensen voegde zich bij de band voor hun liveoptredens en werd al snel een vast lid. Laatste toevoeging is Emil Olsen die bass speelt.

Ruard Veltmaat van Prog Wereld: “Op “Black Science And White Lies”, maar ook op hun voorgaande albums, gaat dit gezelschap diep in op thema’s als de menselijke geest en de afdwalingen van de menselijke geest. Zware thema’s dus en “Black Science and White Lies” is op zijn beurt dan ook een complex verhaal dat thema’s als geloof, identiteit en verlossing verkent.

Het verhaal is opgebouwd uit twee delen: “Devolution” en “Evolution”, die elk een aparte fase in de reis van een protagonist weergeven.… Read more...
